个人理财网站nerdwallet旗下的高等教育部门nerdscholar发表了通过数据收集和整理计算算出美国毕业生前50名工资的学校排名调查报告。

nerdscholar的数据来自所有最近毕业的学生，从“美国信息与世界报道”顶级大学排行榜前100所全国性大学和前30所文理学院开始，参照从大学求职网站收集的数据。 这是追踪应届毕业生的初任工资，算出各大学的平均值，最终得到了能授予57所学位的大学中的184所数据。 其中令人吃惊的是，卡内基梅隆大学美术学院的毕业生平均为62，100美元，排名第24位。 卡内基梅隆大学人文学院特里希人文社会科学学院的毕业生也很受欢迎，平均工资为60，700美元排在第32位。
